Hiking Gunung Bunga Buah

Assalamualaikum.

As promised again, post lagi. Continued. Hiking Gunung Bunga Buah.

This is the second chapter of hiking out of Kedah

Gunung Bunga Buah. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...

Ceritanya, Gunung Bunga Buah ni terletak di Gohtong Jaya. 40km away from KL katanya. At 1,430m, it offers a moderate one to two hour climb as the trail itself starts high up in elevation, Gohtong Jaya being approximately 900m. Gunung Bunga Buah ni boleh dikatakan popular la dalam kalangan visitorssss hikerssss dari Klang Valley, yg aku pun sebenarnya tak sure sgt pasal kepopularan beliau. Biasa la, baru kenal. Accessible by highway, entry dia dekat celah celah kebun sayur belakang deretan rumah kedai.

This is actually an unplanned activity. Since on Friday 29th November I had a critic session (which has ended up as a 'disaster'), I am not really prepared for this event. Plus, this is the ARCIIUM's (Adventure and Recreation Club IIUM) program and Kak Bibah is the one asking me if I wanna join this program. For me, it is of course a "Yes! I want! I want! *jump till the end of world -_-*"

She asked me earlier. On Monday I think. It was a

 "salam,, saya terasa mcm nak g tapi transport mcm x de ( unless Abdul Fatah Qasim or Aidurrah Azhar pergi) .. so kalau saya pergi jerk kat tangga besar tu dengan harapan ada kereta kosong boleh x?"

 kind of invitation. -_-

And on Tuesday, something reaaaalll bad happened to me. I fell off the stairs and bruised my left knee (accidentally, but luckily, no fracture..kot). It's just bruise kot. Nothing kot. But the pain is still here till now. Guess I really need to go to clinic -_-

After that, because of I don't really used on how to go there, terpaksa la Kak Bibah carikan orang untuk bawak kteorg dua yang 'takfittapinakjoinni'. And the same big bro yang drive us there. And big bro Fatah brought his friends with him, big bro Saiful, the one with us in Bukit Tabur trip, and the new big bro, Azizul.

So, squeeze all 5 of us inside big bro Fatah's car and off we went to Gunung Bunga Buah with ARCIIUM members after a short brief by PM of the event, around 8.15 pagi. Tak kenal sangat that guy. I'm not ARCIIUM's member by the way.

Singgah di kedai mamak before hiking up to Gunung Bunga Buah, those people had their breakfast and packed their lunch. Me, of course a no no for a heavy breakfast and I don't pack my lunch, apparently because that kedai mamak doesn't serve my favourite nasi kandar and daging masak hitam yet. Maybe because it's too early T.T

Around 10.30 pagi, mula lah pendakian Gunung Bunga Buah. The trail was at first, exciting. Plus, after around half an hour punya hiking (noted that we're bunch of notfitbutgegehnaknaik girls), sampai la ke satu jalan lama yang dah tak digunakan. That was included in the trail to the peak of Gunung Bunga Buah

Punya la semangat nak hiking awal awal tu. But then, bila dah penat, all of the excitement and semangat kononnya, all gone with the wind la bhai. It happened to kak bibah and me. lol

Then, we started to be left behind. Big bros cannot be detected sebab diorg laju sangat. sobs

We stopped so many times till I don't even know how many was it. We then arrived kat satu tempat ni, nice view, nice spot and nice environment. Phew. mengundang rasa taknak turun -_-

Alhamdulillah, around 2 petang something something, sampai la kami semua ke 4690ft punya point of the Gunung Bunga Buah. It was a very nice place. Having a nice view and the wind blowing soothingly, it was a worth hiking trip. Seriously, I fall in love with Gunung Bunga Buah. After resting and taking picturesssss, we started to head down

It was the same track to the one we used for going up. Bapak la hai steep~~

My left knee was in a really bad condition I guess. Because actually I felt like it's going to fall off -_-

Semput gila waktu nak menuju ke bawah balik. Because it's not only going down but it's going down and up and down and up and down again. Susahnya lahai~

And there's a big bro trying to coach kak bibah and me, training us and mentally 'bullied' us. Krik krik

We safely arrived at the starting place around 4.30 evening something~ After cuci kaki and all the mudsssss off our shoes and trousers (sebab rasa bersalah pulak naik kereta org kotor kotor), we went back to IIUM, dengan penuh kelaparan. 

Then, I've got a call from my sister asking me the place I sent my clothes for laundry and I suddenly realized that I have lottttttsss of clothes to send for laundry. Kbai. Pemalas. Lepas tu, aku pun ajak la kak bibah temankan aku keluar ke Melawati because I don't like driving alone, except it's a short trip around IIUM or UNIKL BMI kat sebelah IIUM. 

Then, after we went back to our respective mahallah and the 3 big bros already heading home, kak bibah and me siap siap nak keluar to send my 'baju kotor' to laundry. Suddenly, I realized, big bro Saiful forgot his tumbler. Terpaksa la call org lain suruh ambik and bagi kat beliau. Sebelum keluaq, kak bibah and me thought of having KFC because we're damn hungry. But kak bibah suddenly ajak makan burger bakar abang burn. So, burger bakar it is! :)

That's how a tiring day ended.. Burger bakar was our lunch and dinner. sobs :'(

Sorry sebab terlalu panjang. Seriously, it is the most exciting part of my life! Semua pun aku nak cerita. Because being single is too lively! I love this kind of freedom :)
